ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a reliable and fast learning person to join our team based in Thurgoona, 2640 on a casual basis. This is the perfect role for someone who might be looking for a second job, is a Uni student or is eager to get back into the work force, with this role providing 2 weeks of work each month, plus additional leave coverage where needed!
In this hands-on warehouse based role, your key responsibilities would include:
• Inspect and describe ex-military stock, enter the descriptions into our system using a laptop and photograph the stock within the required timeframes
• Assist with customer collections of items via forklift operations, pallet jack operations and some manual handling
• Assist with the preparation of stock for auctions
• Deliver outstanding service to vendors and buyers
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow all WHS policies and procedures
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience:
• Current, valid drivers licence (essential)
• Current, valid forklift licence and experience operating a 7.5 tonne forklift (essential)
• Good attention to detail and communication skills
• Experience working in a customer facing environment
• Strong commitment to safety
• Basic computer skills
