Traffic Operations Coordinator
Location: Bundoora, VIC
We are currently looking for reliable and highly organised customer service professional with strong admin skills to join our fast-paced Traffic Team in Bundoora working Monday to Friday between the hours of 7am and 6pm.
You will be responsible for overseeing the scheduling of our Traffic Controllers, Vehicle and equipment. Your attention to detail and effective communication skills will be essential in ensuring that all jobs are well-organized, resources are allocated efficiently, and our teams are set up for success. Other tasks will include but not limited to, speaking with both internal and external customers and receiving and entering client job bookings into our system.
Key Responsibilities include
- Coordinating the placement of our workers, vehicles and equipment, specific to customer requirements.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with our workers including analysis of their skills.
- Liaising with customers to ensure effective business relationships are maintained
- Working closely with customers and the wider traffic and operations teams to place opportunities effectively and efficiently
The Person:
- 3+ years of working within Traffic Management
- Experience in a scheduling / rostering capacity within a complex, fast paced/and at times pressured environment.
- Strong level of customer service and polite phone etiquette
- Excellent verbal communication and relationship building skills with external and internal clients, workers and stakeholders
- Ability to multitask and a strong attention to detail
- Very good software knowledge, understands word, excel, outlook
- Comfortable working in an office environment
- Displays self-motivation, energy and initiative
- Willingness to respond to changing work requirements at peak periods.
- Strong analytical, decision and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to identify, plan and manage safety issues
- Ability to participate with on-call roster.
