Your new role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Coordinator to join our tight knit team who are committed on delivering outcomes on time, every time. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring optimal planning and coordinating of facilities in your control. Responsibilities also include:
- Coordinate daily schedules to support customer requirements and intercompany transfers of waste
- First point of contact for sub-contractors, Cleanaway drivers and internal queries
- Liaise with customers to ensure contract requirements are met and jobs are completed on time
- Critical spare management, order placement and other necessary administrative duties
- Basic sales and operations planning, liaising with both the plant operations team and our technical sales organisation to ensure capacity and capability are aligned
Skills and experience
- Proven experience in the Transport and Logistics space or similar
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge and experience managing GPS tracking systems
- Ability to resolve problems effectively and effectively
- Good computer skills
- Proven ability to be agile in a fast-paced environment with conflicting deadlines
