Role Overview:
As the Wellbeing HR and Work Health & Safety Coordinator, you hold a pivotal position, supporting the HR and WHS team in fostering a culture of health, safety, and wellbeing across our three sites. Collaborating with various departments, you will lead initiatives aimed at enhancing employee wellbeing. Your role involves managing risks and bolstering our commitment to Fair Work, Safe Work, and Return to Work programs, thereby ensuring a safe and equitable work environment for all employees. This dedication is poised to significantly elevate employee satisfaction, enhance productivity, and ultimately drive the overall success of our organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to consistently promote employee wellbeing, encompassing mental health initiatives, psychosocial safety measures, and employee assistance programs.
- Refine the training needs analysis to align with our policies and procedures, ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Offer guidance and assistance to managers and employees on matters related to wellbeing, health, and safety, including injury management and return-to-work programs.
- Enhance system processes and maintain our HR systems to streamline operations and facilitate efficient management of employee-related data.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role,
- Strong knowledge of Fair work and Safe work SA legislation and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Some regional travel required.
