Operations Crew Member - Resource Recovery Centre (REQ121-023)
- Permanent Full-time Opportunity ( 38-hour week)
- Hourly rate from $27.31 - $31.68 + 11% Superannuation (Depending on skills and experience)
About the Opportunity
This Operations Crew Member position acts as a customer interface in the disposal of waste, removal of contamination from the waste streams, and separation of recyclable materials accepted at the Resource Recovery Centre. The role also participates in general site maintenance.
Essential Criteria
- Solid experience in a multi-purpose construction or maintenance role, including manual labouring roles across a variety of projects
- Knowledge and demonstrated experience in manual labouring roles across a variety of projects in construction and/or maintenance
- Ability to work in a multi skilled team-based environment
- Ability to deal with customers on a daily basis, to deliver a service through effective communication
- Demonstrated Experience/knowledge of waste streams, recyclable materials and types of contamination
- Asbestos Awareness training in identification, safe handling and suitable control measures
- Current NSW Drivers' License
- Forklift License
- Construction Induction White Card
