Operations - Equipment Controller

We currently have a great opportunity for a talented Equipment Controller/Co-ordinator to join our Brisbane team. 

Role is ideally suited to a person with a solid knowledge in audio visual equipment and live event production; (either Audio, Lighting, Video or any combination thereof).

You will enjoy dealing with event production logistics and thrive on the challenges of a fast paced and dynamic workplace. In this role you will be responsible for Inventory management and audio-visual equipment movements including equipment stock control, shortages, freight management & handling, equipment maintenance control, along with assisting the general manager in assett procurement and disposal. Day to day duties may include basic event production management skills along with upkeep of company systems and process.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate:

• Prior Rental Point (or similar) Software experience a bonus but not essential
• Working experience in AV/broadcast equipment rental and/or event execution capacity preferred
• Highly detail-oriented and superior organizational skills
• Strong ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Ability to work within and lead a team, provide ongoing guidance, support and oversight with daily duties
• Exceptional problem-solving skills 
• A pleasant customer-facing demeanour
• Forklift ticket preferred (can be provided)
• Manual drivers’ licence (MR preferred)
• An understanding and active role in OH&S systems and practices

To ensure success in this role, a background in the Event AV industry is essential along with a solid understanding of industry practises. Prior warehousing and logistics experience is preferred but not essential.
