Super Retail Group are looking for an Operations Excellence Specialist based at our Erskine Park DC in Sydney. The role will be a key enabler to continuous improvement activities, driven through the Supply Chain operational functions, including Distribution Centres, Customer Care Centre and Supply Chain Support Office.

The Operations Excellence Specialist is a true partner with the business units they support, from problem scoping and business needs analysis, through to solution design and delivery and keeping stakeholders updated and involved through all implementation with reporting, insights and detailed briefings. The role further supports leaders with learnings and modalities from industry best practice, including lean methodologies and process standards, with shared objectives across cost, efficiency, sustainability, and accuracy.

The key responsibilities of the role include:
Identify, prioritise and deliver on efficiency opportunities in assigned business units
Actively partner with assigned business unit leaders on performance, including optimisation opportunities and actions through modalities.
Support the business to achieve work standards across projects, initiatives and business-as-usual activities.
Support the team capability within assigned business units

About You:
Experience leading operational teams (influencing or direct leadership)
Experience leading programs of with lean methodologies
Demonstrated experience with project management across initiatives through to mid-size projects
Experience providing detailed reporting, including commercial measures and performance indicators
Experience delivering training, including digital and face to face delivery modes
Exposure to Lean methodology (ie Lean Six Sigma, Kanban, DMAIC) Certificate
