Responsibilities:
- This role will own the customer order and manage the demand forecast for the organisation from order entry
- Master scheduling and unit scheduling
- Import supply management
- Shipping, customs, freight forwarding etc.
- Inventory management
- Warehouse and dispatch
- Ensure Customer Service requirements are met
- Drive delivery performance to agreed deadlines
Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification in logistics
- Tertiary qualification in engineering (preferred)
Experience:
- Have a deep understanding of sales and operations planning / integrated business management
- Able to lead implementation of business processes and systems development
- Have knowledge and experience with order entry and order management systems
- Be highly competent in master scheduling and unit scheduling
- Spent time working as a senior leader liaising with sales and marketing as well as finance
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team leadership experience (10 plus years)
- Previous steel component manufacturing experience favoured
