Job Description
Play a key role in actively providing day to day operational support to maximise the profitability of the operations by providing Process Engineering services to support safe, reliable and economically optimised refinery plant operations.
- You will be working closely with the refinery field operators, panel operators, Engineering team and our Economics and Scheduling team on daily optimizations of the running units.
- In this role, you will be involved in developing and designing process improvements enhancing profitability, reliability and safety in the short-term and in process scope development for Shutdowns.
- During maintenance, project and Turn Around activities, you will be involved in process technical inspection activities.
You will hold an Chemical/Process Engineering qualification and preferably have (petro) chemical experience as an operational process engineer or similar. You will be highly analytical; you will have demonstrated technical engineering skills, excellent organisational and communication skills.
- IT skills across Process simulation software e.g. HYSYS and Plant data extract tools, as well as Excel and Word.
- We are seeking curious individuals, motivated to innovate and solve problems in a more cost effective manner than the obvious or traditional methods.
- Your curiosity will see you focused on safety, driving change and innovation.
- Adept at influencing through others, engaging stakeholder across all levels and leading change.
- Experienced in identifying areas for improvement and working with technical areas outside of your expertise, influencing key decisions to improve the reliability and integrity of the refinery.
