Classic Blinds and Shutters, a respected family-owned retailer and manufacturer of premium window coverings in the heart of the Newcastle and Hunter region, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our dedicated team.

Job Responsibilities: As the Operations Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our day-to-day activities. Working closely with our Management team, your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing our production, customer service, installation, and wholesale teams.
- Collaborating with management to develop and execute strategic plans, goals, and budgets.
- Fine-tuning our operational systems, processes, and infrastructure to maximize efficiency.
- Managing stock, inventory, and supply chain operations.
- Maintaining and improving Lean principles to optimize our processes.
- Working with our wholesale and retail sales managers to align operations with sales objectives.
- Providing comprehensive financial oversight and reporting on operational performance.
- Setting clear performance standards and fostering a positive work environment.
- Supporting training initiatives and ensuring consistent quality standards across departments.
- Addressing issues or conflicts promptly and professionally.
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
- Maintaining our equipment, vehicles, and facilities in optimal condition.

Skills and Qualifications: We're seeking someone with:
- Proven experience in operations management.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- A knack for developing and implementing operational procedures and policies.
- Sound financial acumen, including budgeting and financial analysis.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- The ability to analyse data, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement effective solutions.
- A minimum of 3 years recent experience in operations or project management.
