Form of workMansfield High Country and Mt Buller - Managing the administration and day to day operations of our managed properties, office systems, procedures, reservations and guest relations for short term holiday rentals.
- Based in Mansfield (you MUST live in the region or be willing to relocate)
- You must have managed teams in a leadership role before.
- Hours based on seasonal demand (Winter peak season)
- Previous advanced proficiency in RMS and HomHero (preferred)
- Previous experience with advanced Revenue Management strategy and Dynamic Pricing.
- Must have Victorian Drivers Licence & National Police Check. First Aid is an advantage.
Hands On Team Focused All Rounder
You will be highly organised and readily be able to effectively plan, triage and time manage a variety of tasks and responsibilities.
No two days are ever the same.
This will not be your first job, you will have had at least two years experience in Rooms Division Management and/or Revenue Management and or exposure through a senior leadership role in a hospitality environment.
You will be a resident of Mansfield or live close by and plan on committing for at least two years.
Confident eloquent phone manner with the ability to deal with guests and property owners in a professional and efficient manner.
You will be available “on call” on a rotating basis.
You will take bookings and payments and use our property management system RMS through all stages of the booking cycle and sequence of service.
You will have managed scheduling housekeepers based on the future projections and ensure staffing adequately covers the demands of the business.
A high level of accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to pick up new systems with ease is a pre-requisite. You will be an innovator who is always seeking to raise the bar.
Maintaining a calm manner and sense of humour in the midst of Winter high season will ensure a happy office, productive housekeeping team and engaged guests and owners. Positive attitude goes without saying.
An understanding of the High Country area and how our snow fields (in particular Mt Buller) operate is an advantage.
It is preferred that the successful applicant will have with a familiarity and competence in Xero accountancy software.
Winter - 4 to 5 days per week + Rotating On Call
Summer - 2 to 3 days per week + Rotating On Call
Hours are between 10:00 and 15:00 during the Summer with flexibility required to complete more hours in to suit (work family balance) especially over the lead up to and during Winter.
There is room for growth and advancement.

Winter and Summer hours.
This is going to suit someone who prefers to work hard during the Winter and then have less hours during the Summer. You may have children, you may have another job that is more busy in the Summer. You may have your own small business. You may just prefer to take it easy during the Summer and earn your money in the Winter. Either way please only apply if these conditions fit your needs.
We are looking for someone to start immediately on five days per week training so that you will be well seasoned and be able to train and support a strong office and housekeeping team for Winter.
