Job description

Purpose of the positionAs the Plumbing Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the Director of the company by assisting in day-to-day operations and contributing to business development initiatives. This role involves managing job scheduling, providing technical advice, and ensuring efficient workflows to meet client needs.In addition to competitive pay, this role offers significant opportunities for training, development, and career growth within our organisation. We are committed to investing in our team members and supporting their professional advancement.Responsibilities & dutiesReceive and process job/work requests via phone, email, or other communications platforms.
Handle inquiries and correspondence (mail, email, phone, in person) professionally and courteously.
Use job management software to manage workflows and job creation.
Ensure all parts and labor are accounted for and prepared for invoicing.
Prepare Safe Work Method Statements.
Complete OHS documentation and compliance.
Support Owner/Office Manager with delegated duties.
Update procedure guides and ensure compliance.
Follow up with plumbers on missing information on jobs.
Maintain customer database and ensure data integrity.
Maintain computer systems to optimize office operations.
Prepare reports and letters as directed.
Assist in maintaining Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and other maintenance schedule registers.
Maintain supplier price files and records.
Liaise with suppliers and external organisations.
Assist in preparing meeting agendas
Adhere to existing policies and contribute to updating and developing new policies and procedures.Skills and Personal AttributesSkills

Technical expertise in plumbing systems and equipment, including troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in job management software (e.g., Simpro) and the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on operational efficiency and workflow management.
Commitment to workplace health and safety standards, ensuring compliance and promoting a safe working environment.
