Role purpose
The key purpose of the Operations Manager role is to manage the maintenance and building services of the shopping centre(s) to ensure the highest quality, safety, presentation and comfort standards are met.
This role is pivotal to success of providing a centre which helps bring the Vicinity brand to life by enriching the experience for our customers, retailers, suppliers and our people
What will you bring?
- You will be an experienced Operations or Facilities manager with a strong understanding of building operations, legislative requirements, WH&S and project management.
- You will have strong budgeting, reporting and forecasting capabilities coupled with a proven track record in contractor management.
- You will be known for your tenacious approach to achieving positive outcomes and your ability to resolve complex issues effectively.
- You will have demonstrated experience in Health and Safety management across a range of projects and have an exceptional ability to take initiative and proactively manage changes that impact the centre(s).
- Your knowledge of retail leases & retailer management together with centre operations (tenancy delivery, facilities management, safety and security) will enable you to drive success.
- A strong people leader, you will be skilled at coaching and mentoring to build capability of your people.
- A relevant tertiary qualification is desirable.
