Your New Role:
As the Operations Manager at DAMS you'll be at the helm of our operational success. Responsibilities include efficiently scheduling jobs, managing resources, and driving projects. Reporting directly to the General Manager you'll ensure smooth daily operations, maintain client communication, and be prepared to do whatever it takes to ensure the delivery of high-quality services on schedule and within budget.
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence:
- Oversee the planning and execution of services, ensuring timely completion, adherence to budget, and compliance with industry & stakeholder standards
- Identify and implement improvements to systems and processes to foster a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, safety, and excellence.
Stakeholder Management:
- Establish and maintain effective communication with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Operational Leadership, Development & Engagement:
- Lead high-performing teams by providing guidance, feedback, and support.
- Foster a culture of accountability and address underperformance.
Financial Acumen:
- Maintain financial performance by providing accurate and timely quotes
- Possess a strong understanding of financials, specifically cost margins, reporting KPIs, etc.
- Assist with the formulation of budgets and maintain and manage set targets effectively
Regulatory Compliance and Safety:
- Uphold Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) standards in compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and procedures.
