Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will lead our operations team with a focus on driving client and customer satisfaction, promoting safety and wellbeing, and delivering efficiency and business growth.
- Promoting a culture of safety and customer service amongst frontline employees.
- Lead and coordinate our frontline team of 30 plus drivers to maximise operational efficiencies
- Identifying areas for continuous improvement and cost control
- Rostering HR drivers and fleet to meet operational requirements.
- Overseeing training and compliance.
- Providing accurate reporting around operating and HSE performance.
- Demonstrated leadership and a track record developing a high functioning team that is focused on customer outcomes.
- An uncompromising commitment to a safety-first culture.
- Intermediate IT proficiency with operating systems and MS office suite.
- Outstanding communication skills and an ability to problem solve in a complex environment.
- Experience working within waste management, road transport or civil engineering will be highly regarded.
- HR license is desirable, but not essential.
