International Hotel Services (IHS) are seeking an experienced Operations Manager in NSW to be a part of our NSW Management Team. The successful candidate will need to be driven, hands on and proactive.

The Role
The Operations Manager will have operational accountability. The role focuses on overseeing all aspects involved with daily rooms operations in Brisbane/Surfers Paradise, including the cleaning and maintenance of hotel rooms ensuring a consistent high level of service is maintained.
- Managing the cleaning services operations of the hotels allocated and any operational assignment/project as directed by the General Manager.
- Quality reporting, auditing and troubleshooting operational issues
- Assist/Relieve the Site Managers when required.
- Assist in training Line management and coaching of a team of hotel Staff
- Ensuring SLA’s and QEHS deliverables are being met
- Contractor and service provider management to ensure delivery of service
- Ensure the cleaning standard on each site is exemplary through people management, coaching, and encouraging a culture of continuous improvement.
- Managing client relationships with a focus on promoting the company brand in a positive manner.
- Assist the Site Managers ensuring that the productivity is controlled and KPI’s are meet.
- Oversee/monitor the staff training ensuring that the new staff will achieve the KPI.
- Ensure that the productivity and timesheets are submitted in timely manner.
To Be Successful
- At least 1 year previous experience as a Operations Manager specifically related to Housekeeping Operations.
- Minimum of 2 year as Housekeeping Manager or Assistant Housekeeping Manager.
- Excellent customer service experience
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Proficient in the use of technology including MS Outlook, Excel
- Must be self-motivated, passionate and results driven
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
