We are currently in search of an Operations Manager to oversee our clients operations in South Australia and Victoria. There are around 120 individuals spread across offices in Adelaide, Mount Gambier, and Mildura, with further growth expected.
Reporting directly to the CEO, and working within the senior leadership team, this role is a unique opportunity for you to carve out their career path.
Responcibilities include:
- Spearheading operational performance in South Australia and Victoria
- Supervising project delivery
- Establishing a local delivery team, including succession planning for key positions
- Monitoring and managing financial performance of projects and the operational center
- Partnering with the Workforce Capability Lead to enhance team capabilities
- Offering leadership and mentorship to senior staff in Adelaide, Mildura, and Mount Gambier
- Ensuring the implementation of appropriate risk management practices
- Collaborating with the Clients and Growth Lead to facilitate business development in the Operational Centre
- Handling project and operational risks and disputes
- Overseeing the development of technical excellence within the Operational Centre
- Managing operational change
- Cooperating with Operations Managers in Queensland and New South Wales to bolster project delivery, support strategic growth, and contribute to national collaboration
- Identifying, planning, and supervising operational business improvements
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualifications in engineering is ideal
- Proven strong leadership experience
- Previous experience in project delivery
- Exceptional communication skills
- A collaborative and team-oriented approach
- Demonstrated commitment to a growth mindset
