We are committed to providing our people with broad experiences to build a successful career.Job description:The OpportunityReporting to the Centre Manager, this strategic role will see you apply your solid Operations Management expertise to ensure a best practice approach to the overall running and management of our Burleigh Heads centre. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Manage projects of major building works for Retail including demolitions, make goods, fit outs, refurbishments, major repairs and service installations.• Design and develop project management policies, procedures and reporting systems. • Engage specialist consultants. • Obtain required building approvals. • Provide operations progress reporting.• Provide technical building and construction advice to relevant stakeholders.• Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders through delivery of outstanding service.• Create agreement of written project briefs to confirm deliverables. • Build team capability through sharing knowledge and best practices. • Provide assistance to other team members.• Lead by example and actively promote Stockland's values.• Ensure all operations' projects create a positive impact on the property's sustainability platform.• Assist in delivering our target reduction programs regarding energy, water and waste. • Promote and ensure full compliance with the RETAIL HS&E Plan.About You You are a dynamic and collaborative people leader, putting the client first in every interaction. With substantial experience in formulating and monitoring budgets and a strong commercial focus, you have demonstrated experience operating within a shopping centre environment where you have managed outsourced contracts for both hard and soft services.
