MovingPlus Storage Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Operations Manager (Fleet) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for organising, directing, controlling, and evaluating the operations of our transport business.
Some of the duties will include:
● Directing and evaluating daily operations.
● Ensuring all trucks are well-equipped and maintained.
● Managing and maintaining customer relationships.
● Handling administrative tasks and preparing reports.
● Overseeing the dispatch of vehicles and assigning them to team members.
● Preparing reports for senior management and planning changes to schedules and
policies.
● Managing the storage and transportation of goods.
● Managing and leading the team.
● Doing daily safety checks and refuelling of vehicles.
● Keeping track of service requirements and arranging maintenance.
● Hiring vehicles for extra jobs and managing subcontractor payments.
● Booking, scheduling, and rostering jobs.
● Controlling company operations, including some HR and financial responsibilities.
Qualifications Required:
● A Bachelor-level qualification in Transport Management, Shipping and Logistics, Freight Management, or Business Management.
● A minimum of 1 year of experience in fleet management or managing transport vehicles, liaising with clients, planning transportation schedules, ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, and handling complaints.
Skills Required:
● Strong knowledge of SAP applications, modules, and business processes.
● Proficiency in testing tools and methodologies, such as Jira Xray, SAP Solution Manager, and AgileScrum.
● Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
● Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
● Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Skills Desirable:
● SAP certification.
