The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Operations Planner to join our dynamic team in our Supply Chain function at Seqirus. Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, you will review Monthly Supply Plan forecasts for the assigned product groups and develop short to medium term production plans for the assigned work centres. You will also work collaboratively with other planners to maintain knowledge of the planned manufacturing schedules across the site and working on strategies and plans to support them.
The role
- Review alignment of planned orders in ERP System (SAP) to supply plan forecast and troubleshoot issues across SAP and Kinaxis RR when plans are not aligned.
- Prepare fortnightly production schedules and facilitation of weekly commitment meetings with stakeholders across the business to agree on the weekly production plan considering raw material supply, QC and QA activities and with the goal of maintaining a production schedule aligned to the supply plan;
- Lead and oversee the process order management for all assigned work centres to fulfil the production
- Support the Material Planner in the planning and management of the replenishment process for purchasing materials to support those schedules;
- Manage MRP & planning parameters in SAP and Kinaxis RR to ensure accurate supply plans are maintained in the planning systems.
- Report production progress (weekly/monthly) within and above site stakeholders;
- Manage obsolescence and expiries of the assigned materials and initiate write-off process.
- Supporting Operations Planning Manager for monthly Site Supply Planning and annual budget preparation processes ;
- This role should have an excellent working knowledge of cGMP to provide support to Manufacturing, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Procurement.
To be successful:
- Bachelor's degree with minimum of 3 years' experience preferred or equivalent work experience in a regulated science or pharmaceutical / biotech environment;
- Minimum 2 years' experience with SAP;
- Experience maintaining master data relating to planning parameters (ideally in SAP);
- Experience with production planning methodology;
- Experience in manufacturing processes and cGMP documentation;
- Hands-on experience with master production scheduling including finite planning;
- Extensive experience working with Microsoft Excel for reporting and scenario planning.
