About the Team:
Join our Aviation Operations team, the powerhouse behind the day-to-day delivery of all landside and terminal precinct operations at Sydney Airport. From the command-and-control function of the Integrated Operations Centre to the management of Airfield Operations and ensuring the security and resilience of the entire airport, our team keeps things moving smoothly, no matter what.
About the Role:
The Operations Program Coordinator is centered around overseeing and harmonising various projects within the Operations Planning and Resilience program to achieve strategic objectives effectively.
This position suits someone who is organised, adept at planning and progress monitoring, and committed to maintaining high standards of operational excellence.
What You'll Be Doing:
- You'll be the mastermind behind aligning various projects, products, and strategic initiatives within our Aviation Operations Planning and Resilience Team.
- Juggling multiple projects? No problem! You'll expertly manage and reconcile interdependencies among them.
- Work closely with project sponsors to chart the course of our programs and meticulously monitor progress.
- Keep the lines of communication wide open among our cross-functional team.
- Define the governance structure of our projects and programs to ensure smooth sailing.
- Keep a sharp eye on the program's budget, ensuring resources are allocated wisely.
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues, taking proactive measures to keep us on track.
- Ensure all deliverables align seamlessly with the program's desired outcomes.
- Keep our program documents shipshape and up to date.
- Prepare insightful business reports and papers to keep stakeholders informed.
- From capex and opex management to purchase orders and travel arrangements, you'll handle various administrative tasks with finesse.
Skills & Experience We're Looking For:
- Previous work experience in program management or a similar role (e.g., Executive Assistant) is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders effectively across large projects.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
- Knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling programs will be highly valued but not essential.
- Sound skills in business case development and approval are essential.
- Understanding of budgeting and resource allocation procedures will be advantageous.
