What does the job look like?

The Resource & Industrial business is looking for an Operations Supervisor to join the team based at our operational site in Altona, VIC.

Reporting to the State Manager, you will help manage the transport of bulk fuel for a major customer. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, ensuring high truck and driver utilisation making sure we exceed our customers' expectations within safety, customer service and quality. Key areas:

Fostering an open, effective, and positive relationship with our customer
Ensuring drivers are up to date with company policies and procedures through toolbox meetings, inductions, ongoing assessment, and training
Taking responsibility for all operational, compliance and financial performance
Responding to customer feedback and complaints in an efficient manner
Participating and committing to Safety Standards and COR requirements at all times

Previous experience within fleet and driver management
Knowledge of delivery windows and transport allocations
Ability to interpret and contribute to financial decisions
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Organisational and problem-solving abilities
A high regard for safe working practices
Previous experience within fuels is highly desirable
