About the Role
The Operations Supervisor main responsibility is to oversee the day-to-day activities of our fleet operators, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to company policies. Responsibilities typically include scheduling, customer service, staff training, monitoring performance, resolving issues, and implementing process improvements to achieve organisational goals.
Your main objectives of this role are;
- As the principal operational contact, you will require strong communication skills, be highly organised with a high attention to detail. Maintaining constant communication with managers, staff and clientele. Manage out of hours Emergency call outs and operational issues.
- Show guidance and strength and inspire others in the workplace. Oversee, lead, motivate, and support field staff, tracking staffing requirements and hiring new employees as needed.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols. With a focus on client needs – committed to providing a quality service to clients by performing site audits, fleet inspections and handling quality control issues, ensuring standards are implemented and regularly refined.
- Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures. And work towards key performance indicators.
- You will require extensive knowledge of Metro, Hills and Greater Adelaide areas
- Have working knowledge of Office 365 software, specifically Excel, to conduct budget reviews and report cost plans to upper management. Knowledge of Wastedge or an acquired proficiency in learning new software packages.
- Regularly analyse data that can help assess inconsistencies and implement changes where necessary. Assisting Directors in predicting the companies requirements when preparing a yearly budget, and planning for future spending.
- Ensure all statutory and regulatory requirements are met and kept up to date e.g. SWMS, JSA, Inductions
