What you need -Essential
- Pride in your service to our clientele.
- Accurate written communication skills.
- Certificate III in Arboriculture (or equivalent) OR extreme passion and experience in the industry and be willing to obtain certification.
- ESI Cert II Powerline Vegetation Control or willing to obtain.
- Vehicle licence - manual “C” class licence ( or “MR” class manual licence or willing to obtain).
- Elevated Work Platform licence/ Squirrel Operator or be willing to obtain.
- Intermediate computer skills Excel, Google maps & Word, or willing to obtain.
- Current Provide First Aid Certificate & National Police Clearance (less than 6 months old) or be willing to obtain.
What you need -Desirable
- Experienced in all aspects of the Arboricultural industry.
- Experienced team leader / supervisor.
- Certifications to operate Chainsaw & Chipper, or willing to obtain.
- Basic mechanical skills (tool & vehicle servicing) .
- Possess an understanding of Occupational Health & Safety.
- Great communication & customer service skill.
About the Job
This permanent fulltime position offers an attractive salary + super + fully maintained vehicle + company phone . You will be supervising several work crews over multiple sites, managing their tool & equipment needs, responding to any queries and assisting on site when required. Between 20 - 30% of your time will be “hands on” supporting and monitoring your crews whilst working alongside your colleagues, leading by example…
You will be responsible for planning, coordinating and scheduling work for your crews and any required equipment maintenance. Supporting and monitoring your crews and ensuring all company equipment is well maintained with a minimum of downtime. Managing crew performance and ensuring required training is delivered. Safety leadership to cover toolbox talks, incident reporting, site inspections, implementation of safety protocols and ensuring they are observed. 70 - 80% of your time will be used in maintaining client communication via in person meetings and electronic media, document control, report writing and developing job quotations, providing support for the Director and Administration team regarding team training, safety, PPE and equipment needs, job scheduling and reporting requirements…
