Real Estate 

The global Real Estate team is comprised of 500+ lawyers and services some of Australia's largest and most recognised property developers, fund managers, trusts and landlords. 

This high performing close knit Sydney team is made of up of two leading partners, a Senior Associate and a couple of lawyers and a rotating graduate. They provide advice on the full range of property matters including:

• Investment property acquisitions and disposals (commercial buildings, industrial estates and shopping centres);
• Leasing (commercial and retail);
• Property development projects; and
• Joint ventures, and structured development agreements.

Position Description

This role will see you supporting both partners yet you will also work closely with the other members of the team. On offer is mixture of commercial/retail/industrial leasing, property development and large-scale acquisitions and disposals. 

This role will afford a decent amount of autonomy and responsibility. This will be a client-facing role and will suit a flexible lawyer who enjoys working in a fast paced environment.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have between 2-7 years experience from a well-regarded property practice. Ideally you will have exposure to complex major transactions and be comfortable negotiating commercial and retail leases. 

In addition, you will have:

• The ability to take ownership of smaller, less complex matters whilst playing a team role in the larger, complex matters; 
• A developing to developed commercial awareness; and
• A proven ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
