The RPQ provides a range of quality services in road construction and maintenance. The company has experienced considerable growth over the last five years and operates in asphalt supply and placement, bitumen spray sealing, road milling and profiling, civil construction and road maintenance.
The role
As an Operations Support Officer, you must possess a high level of attention to detail with the ability to communicate and engage on all levels. To be successful in this role you will have come from a construction/mining/transport logistics background and be able to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide administrative support to Asphalt and Seal Operations, Project Engineers,Supervisors and Foreman
- Provide administrative support to Regional Operations Manager, Supervisors and Production Personnel
- Ensuring all cost associated with databases are current.
About You
To be successful in this position you will require the following skills/experience:
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work methodically, accurately and neatly
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multi task
- Comfortable in composing communications and proofreading documentation
- Strong interpersonal skills including teamwork, flexibility, dependability, creativity and adaptability
- Strong organisational skills
- Sound and accurate touch-typing skills including use of the numeric key pad
- Proficient in MS Office suite with advanced knowledge of Word and Excel.
