About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team in Brisbane as Operations Support Specialist. This role is pivotal in managing all aspects of accommodation logistics, planning, and forecasting, as well as overseeing various projects within our department.
Key accountabilities include:
Travel Management:
- Oversee Company field travel for employees and contractors including flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and other logistical needs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with travel vendors, camp service providers to ensure accommodation, travel systems and process meets business needs.
- Implement travel policies and guidelines to optimise efficiency and ensure accommodation busts are managed appropriately.
- Monitor accommodation and flight KPI’s and communicate updates to stakeholders, addressing any issues or risks promptly.
Planning and Forecasting:
- Forecast accommodation needs based on business requirements and upcoming projects/shutdowns
- Manage accommodation busts with internal / external stakeholders and prioritise accommodation requirements based on business requirements.
- Plan and schedule workforce accommodation to maximize productivity and minimise costs.
- Work closely with departments, planning teams to understand accommodation requirements and proactively address any potential issues.
- Planning, forecasting and coordinating mobile camps (owned & 3rd party) to support Drilling and Development projects across Surat and Cooper Basins
Project Management:
- Lead and support various minor projects ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders, addressing any issues or risks promptly.
- Coordinate resources, allocate tasks, and manage project timelines effectively.
Contract Representative
- Act as Contract Representative for a number of Operation Support contractors.
- Ensure contracts are managed inline with Santos Standards
About You
You will possess a strong blend of organisational skills, attention to detail, and project management expertise. Have the ability to develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across all stakeholder levels and have demonstrated experience collaborating within a multi-disciplinary team.
Experience
- Minimum of 5-10 years experience working in travel, project management or forecasting/planning roles
- Experience using SAP and INX/SAM/Inflight or other travel management software
- Experience with using forecasting software
- Previous experience in similar roles
- Previous experience managing contractors ensuring KPI’s and outputs are met
Ideally, you will be a Cert 4, Diploma or degree qualified in relevant field with experience within the oil and gas industry.
