We are continuing a phase of extensive growth and are looking for an Operations Team Leader with a focus on cashflow management and accounts payable to be part of this exciting journey.

Skills
- Hybrid Work Model Enthusiast: Eager to blend office collaboration at our Tuggerah location with the autonomy of working from home (2 days). This model promises both professional development and focused independence.
- Daily Cash Flow Management: Responsibility for daily cash flow management is a critical component of this role. You will manage forecasts, execute daily transfers, upload payroll files and handle ad-hoc payments, ensuring optimal liquidity for the organisation. Your ability to plan and execute with precision will support the organisation’s financial health and operational goals.
- Triaging Accounts Inbox: The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, efficiently triaging the centralised accounts inbox. This involves prioritising emails and identifying urgent queries, directing them to the appropriate team members/manager for resolution and ensuring that all communications are handled effectively to maintain smooth operational flows.
- Bank Reconciliations: Handling bank reconciliations for a large volume of intercompany bank accounts and debit cards.
- Supervising Accounts Payable Team: As a supervisor of the small accounts payable team, you will demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities, guiding and motivating your team to achieve excellence in their tasks. Your role includes overseeing the accounts payable process, from invoice processing to payments, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. The ability to mentor staff, resolve conflicts and streamline processes will be key to your success in this role.
- Identifying Operational Issues: Candidates must have a keen eye for detail and the ability to critically analyse processes to pinpoint operational issues. Articulating these issues clearly and proposing actionable solutions is crucial. Your expertise will drive improvements in efficiency and effectiveness, contributing to the overall performance of the finance department. You must be capable of swiftly adapting to change, prioritising tasks efficiently and training team members.
