We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and well-rounded person to join our team. Our core business facilitates the hiring, selling and transportation of Elevated Work Platforms, including Scissors, Boom Lifts, Telehandlers and Forklifts to the Construction and Material Handling.
You will have the opportunity to provide support in a role that offers variety and be able to make a real contribution to our team culture and business performance at our Port Melbourne office.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Manage and oversee our fleet of trucks and driver schedules to ensure efficient and optimal use of the fleet
- Customer Service
- Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system
- Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence including mail & email
- Dealing with customer enquiries
- General Office administration duties assisting Operations
- Data entry
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration
To be successful for this role you must have:
- Experience in transport management, preferably in a similar industry highly regarded
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and work effectively for the best outcome
- An enthusiastic attitude
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills
- Sound computer skills including MS Office and willingness to learn transportation and inventory management software
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Demonstrated ability to be reliable and punctual
