Our client, a leader in the Mining and Manufacturing Industry, seeks skilled Electrical and Mechanical Operator Maintainers to join their thriving Export Operations in the scenic coastal town of Whyalla. This role offers attractive rates of pay and the possibility of extension for the right candidates.
Responsibilities:
- Perform trades maintenance duties
- Operate fixed plant equipment
- Conduct preventative, breakdown, and scheduled maintenance
- Execute disassembly, installation, and upgrades of plant and equipment
- Proficiently diagnose and fault-find
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime
- Prioritize safety and maintain high-quality standards
Essential:
- Relevant Trade Qualifications in Electrical or Mechanical disciplines
- Exceptional diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Self-motivated, reliable, and adept at working under pressure as part of a team
- Full Working Rights in Australia
- Physically fit with the ability to adapt to high-pressure situations
- Experience in heavy industry, mining, or similar sectors
- Additional qualifications in Dogging, Rigging, EWP, Confined Space, and Working at Heights
- High Risk Forklift Licence (desirable)
- INX Inductions and Red Lock Training
- Valid Driver’s License
