Ophthalmic Assistant /Receptionist

We are a private Armidale based Ophthalmology Practice committed to providing excellence in specialised ophthalmic care.
The Role
We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team, working on a roster system 3 - 4 days per week. Rostered hours are usually between 8:00am and 5:00 pm, however this may change on occasion. Your attributes and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Customer Service
- Management of appointment bookings
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Pre work up and testing, use of specialized machines including OCT, IOLMaster.
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a very busy environment.
Your Profile
It would be beneficial for the successful applicant to have experience in the Health Industry environment, or at the very minimum, customer service experience. The position requires exceptional time management and communication skills with the ability to multi-task. Prior experience is desired but not essential as on the job training is provided where necessary.
