Booragoon Eye Clinic is Perth’s newest Ophthalmology practice. Our lead surgeon has been in the area for almost a decade and has built up a large volume of faithful and friendly patients. We will look after our staff very well and our aim is to make your work life fruitful and enjoyable as we partner to help people see better.
Qualifications & experience
- Teachable - ophthalmology is very specific but we are happy to train up our staff
- Proactive - we have a work culture where everyone chips in to make it work.
- Prior ophthalmic assistance experience will be highly favoured and bonuses may apply
Tasks & responsibilities
- Meeting and greeting patients
- Screening patients before our doctor sees them - checking their vision, intraocular pressure and obtaining a brief history for their presentation
- Administering eye drops
- Preparing for our surgeon’s procedures - injections, eyelid minor procedures
- Performing eye tests - biometry, visual field testing, OCT testing.
