Perth Eye Surgeons is growing with a new surgeon starting soon! An excellent opportunity exists for a friendly, efficient and self-motivated individual to join our growing ophthalmology practice in Midland to assist with patient testing and administration duties. With multiple Doctors covering different ophthalmic sub-specialties, we are a front-line care provider for eye care and surgery in the local area, servicing both local and regional patients. Qualifications & experience
- Previous optical or ophthalmic experience highly recommended
- Experience with patient management software, VIP, advantageous
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is essential
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize daily schedules and maintain workflow of busy clinics
- High attention to detail is essential
- Flexible approach to work hours
Tasks & responsibilities
- Perform patient testing including visual acuity, visual field tests, biometry and OCT scans and photos
- Administrative duties including reception, answering telephones, scanning, updating and maintaining patient records and stock supplies
- Providing exceptional customer service to patients and other third parties; face-to-face, over the phone and via electronic communication
