About the Role:
The Youth Worker will be actively engaging in the care andeducation of Anangu Secondary Students undertaking secondaryeducation at Avenues College and boarding at Wiltja Boardinglocated in Lightsview. The Youth Worker will also activelycontribute to the social and educational outcomes of students. Theywill also be involved in a health, wellbeing, educational andrecreational programs delivered to students.
Qualifications:
Essential: A professional qualification in Youth Work or anallied field
Special Conditions:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department forHuman Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior tobeing employed which is required to be renewed every five yearsbefore expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN–EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect -Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course orthe online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to beupdated every three years.

Remuneration:
OPS3 $66,590 - $70,968 per annum (1.0 FTE), plussuperannuation
