This opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Functional Consultant to join our team. As an Oracle Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support in implementing Oracle applications and modules for our internal stakeholders. Your primary role will involve understanding business requirements, configuring Oracle applications, conducting system testing, and assisting with training. Your deep knowledge of Oracle's suite of products and strong analytical skills will be critical in delivering high-quality solutions that align with our needs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders and users to understand the business processes and requirements and translate them into functional specifications for Oracle applications.
• Configure Oracle applications and modules according to the defined business requirements, including setup and customization of workflows, reports, and user interfaces.
• Conduct thorough system testing to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the configured Oracle applications, identifying and resolving any issues or discrepancies.
• Assist in data migration activities, ensuring the successful transfer of data from legacy systems to Oracle applications.
• Provide end-user training and support to enable smooth adoption of Oracle applications, addressing user queries and issues promptly.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proper integration between Oracle applications and other systems or third-party applications.
• Participate in the design and implementation of business process improvements, leveraging Oracle applications' capabilities and best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest Oracle product releases, features, and industry trends, and provide recommendations on leveraging new functionalities.

Knowledge and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as an Oracle Functional Consultant, with expertise in implementing Oracle applications such as Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Fusion Applications, or Oracle Cloud Applications.
• Strong understanding of business processes across various functional domains, such as finance, supply chain management, human resources, or customer relationship management.
• Proficiency in configuring and customizing Oracle applications, including defining workflows, user interfaces, reports, and security settings.
• Solid knowledge of Oracle application modules and their interdependencies.
• Experience in conducting system testing, identifying and resolving defects, and ensuring data integrity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders, gather requirements, and provide training and support.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business scenarios and translate them into Oracle solutions.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
• Oracle certifications, such as Oracle Certified Implementation Specialist or Oracle Certified Professional, are highly desirable.
