Job Description:Position Overview: Our Client is seeking a highly skilled Oracle Functional Consultant specializing in EBS Supply Chain to join their consultancy team for an exciting 6-month contract starting in early July. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in a groundbreaking business and technology transformation project aimed at revolutionizing and enhancing supply chain processes. This is a unique opportunity to work on a high-impact project that will shape the future of the company’s operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Analysis and Functional Specifications:
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for Oracle EBS supply chain modules.
- Design and Implementation:
- Design, configure, and implement Oracle EBS supply chain and manufacturing modules, including Inventory, Bill of Material, Work in Progress, Advanced Supply Chain Planning, Warehouse Management, and Order Management.
- Gap Analysis and System Enhancements:
- Conduct gap analysis to identify system modifications and enhancements.
- End-User Support and Training:
- Provide end-user support and training to ensure effective utilization of the system.
- Collaboration and Customization:
- Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement customizations and integrations.
- Testing and UAT:
- Develop test plans, conduct testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Documentation:
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business process flows and configuration guides.
- Project Management:
- Participate in project planning and management, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Essential: Strong understanding of Oracle EBS supply chain and manufacturing modules, including Inventory, Bill of Material, Work in Progress, Advanced Supply Chain Planning, Warehouse Management, and Order Management.
- Proven experience in full lifecycle implementations of Oracle EBS.
- Proficient in creating functional specifications, process flows, and system configurations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with business users and technical teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Experience with data migration, system integration, and interface design.
- Knowledge of SQL and Oracle database structures to facilitate troubleshooting and data analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other Oracle EBS modules, such as Procurement, Project Manufacturing, Project Costing, etc.
- Knowledge of integration with Oracle EBS.
- Experience in defense or other regulated industries.
- Proficiency in reporting and analytics tools such as Oracle Reports and Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI).
