My client is a major government organisation in NSW focusing on the Health and well being of the NSW population
This Technical Oracle EBS Specialist is responsible for providing the enhancement, maintenance
and support of the Oracle Applications in the areas of Human Resources and Payroll. The role will develop Oracle
Application or Cloud solutions including the design, development, testing, deployment and support of custom
extensions and the integration with 3rd party and legacy systems.
About the Role
- Translate high-level business requirements, solution design and user requirements defined in functional specifications into quality technical specifications and technical artefacts or components, (including configuration and integrations) to meet suitable business requirements and design.
- Build, test and deploy technical components adhering to System Development Life Cycle, Development Standards, Guidelines and Agile Framework to meet business and process requirements.
- Prepare technical documentation and other relevant project documentation according the governance standards using a broad range of engagement techniques including, data and systems analysis, requirements workshops, site visits, process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and work-flow analysis, and/or viewpoints, with simple, clear, unambiguous and concise language.
- Development data and business models and data item content relevant to the assignment, specifications of interfaces between source and end state systems.
- Identification of risks and issues with appropriate handling and escalation to meet business needs.
- Provide technical leadership and direction to peers to effectively manage operational issues to ensure continuous effective service delivery and a performance based, innovative, responsive and accountable
About You
- Extensive experience with Oracle EBS
- Extensive hands on experience with Oracle development tools such as Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle Workflow, AME, XML Publisher, Oracle Applications Framework (OAF), Application Development Framework (ADF) and/or JDeveloper, with a high-level understanding of Oracle Applications Development Standards and Methodologies.
- Experience with Fast Formula in the HR and Payroll space, including proven experience in defining and creating solutions.
- Extensive experience as a Technical Analyst working with Oracle Applications including experience in implementations and upgrades.
- Functional knowledge of Oracle Application modules such as HR, Payroll, Self Service Human Resources and Oracle Time and labour.
