About the role

We're currently seeking Order Fulfilment Officers (Pick Packers/Dispatch/Distribution Officers) to join our Distribution team at Perth Processing Centre in Perth, WA. As an Order Fulfilment Officer, you'll support the timely distribution of life-giving products to Approved Health Providers throughout WA.

For this role, you may bring previous experience in warehousing, distribution, pick packing, stock filling, food handling or other similar roles. You will demonstrate an aptitude to learning medical terminology to liaise with stakeholders in the medical profession including our hospital-based customers to deliver an exceptional customer service. Don’t worry, we’ll support you in learning our policies and procedures which help us to ensure the right product gets to the right place at the right time.

A day in the Order Fulfilment role will see you:

  • Pick and pack life-giving blood and products
  • Work alongside our Customer Service team and our transport partners to ensure timely distribution
  • Manage and replenish inventory (blood and blood products) in temperature-controlled laboratory environments
  • Adhere to cold-chain compliance standards in a laboratory setting

  • Experience working in fast paced environment such as manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, pharmaceutical, retail and fast-food industries would be beneficial
  • Availability to work on a rotating roster Monday to Sunday including morning, afternoon & night shift  
  • Ability to frequently lift boxes that weigh upto 10kgs
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend and reach to pack blood and blood products
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Technical savvy and proficiency in using computers to navigate our system
  • Undertaking routine & repetitive task with attention to detail
  • We are looking for a team member with the right attitude and will train you to be an exceptional specialist.

This is a permanent part-time opportunity (60.8 hours a fortnight) and you’ll be working varied shifts across a 365/24/7 roster. There are three different shifts – morning, afternoon & overnight with on-site parking available for overnight shifts. Your flexibility is appreciated due to changing operational needs however rosters are issued in 10–12 week blocks to assist with planning your personal time outside of work.
