An exciting opportunity to join a boutique pharmacy located at Coburg in Melbourne. We are expanding our team and offering a position within our operation team. Position is considered entry level, and is more suited for a long-term minded candidate as there is ongoing growth opportunity.
Your role will involve frequent patient integrations, answering and making phone calls and responding to emails, taking orders with the pharmacy system, assisting in packing, charging and dispatching orders daily under the direction of the pharmacist. You will ensure medications packages are accurate, and the correct product is dispatched/ charged, while liaising with staff regarding expected delivery dates.
This is a permeant part-time shift position you must be able to work Mon to Friday between 9am - 5pm. In this position, there will be the ordering as well as the packing sections that you will be operating in, with the supervision of our pharmacist.
There will be lots of integrations you will be involved in will be over the phone and email, therefore familiarity for phone operation and email communication will be greatly valued. Basic computer literacy will be require as there are a few systems you will need to be comfortable operating them daily. Full training will be provided. The systems are not complicated and the team is always there to assist.
Other responsibilities include mail handling and collection, packing of the medication, checking orders and verify the packages, ordering and managing packing supplies, track and trace of postage, liaising with postage carriers, receiving returned items and assisting with problem solving for patients.
We are a very busy pharmacy and dispatch orders to locations all over the country. Orders contain high valued medications and pharmacy retail items, all of which require careful packaging and care, as well as matching up postage details.

Experience in pharmacy, call centres and or/ packing is preferred not required. However, to be comfortable and able to be on the phones constantly as well as using the basic computer systems are absolutely essential. Extensive training provided so not to worry if you don’t have such experience. First and foremost, we are looking for attitude, reliability and loyalty.
