We are looking for an experienced Organisational Change Lead to support a significant project for the Northern Territory Government.
This is a 6-month contract position, performing the services in Darwin. It is a requirement therefore that you will be Darwin based for the duration of this engagement.
You will develop and implement the change management strategy, training strategy, and associated artefacts to support the project.
Implementing required Organisational Change management activities for the delivery of a contemporary multi-stream revenue management solution for the Agency.
- Develop, implement and manage an effective change management strategy and plan.
- Measure success, monitor the change progress, assess the change impact and prepare for the change.
- Provide high level, timely, accurate advice and track and report on issues and barriers.
- Develop, implement and manage an effective training strategy, ensure associated artefacts align with the overall project.
- Initiate the provision of effective change management and stakeholder engagement advice.
- Apply continual service improvement methods and techniques under a wider change management process.
- Create a strategy that supports adoption of the changes, maintaining awareness and communication of the project priorities.
- Identify, analyse and prepare risk mitigation plans and tactics.
- Identify and manage anticipated resistance.
- Work with the project to identify, define and establish the mechanism by which business benefits will be realised and tracked.
- Coach, mentor and support client agency staff and stakeholders at all levels through the business transformation.
- Minimum 5 years demonstrated experience working as an Organisational Change Lead / business change manager.
- High level ability to translate change and engagement strategy into operational goals and create a shared sense of purpose.
- Contemporary knowledge of change management frameworks, methodologies, practices and tools.
- Demonstrable application of change management and stakeholder engagement methodologies, practices and tools for large scale organisation transformation.
- Skills in negotiation and conflict management strategies and approaches, including well-developed conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and report on complex issues, evaluate associated risks, identify and profile business benefits.
- National Police Clearance Required or able to be obtained.
- Experience working in financial sector within government.
- Experience working in the Information Technology (IT) industry.
- Qualification in change management (Prosci or similar).
- Tertiary Qualifications in Organisational Change Management.
