Organisational Development Consultant - Employee Relations and Talent Acquisition

$106,457.64 - $119,122.41 pa (per annum plus super)

Temporary Full Time (38 hours per week for 10 months) to cover a period of extended leave

About this exciting opportunity:

Reporting to the Team Leader Organisational Development, you'll be an integral part of our People and Change Team, serving as a trusted business partner for key internal stakeholders. Your role will focus on two critical areas: Employee Relations and Talent Acquisition.

In the realm of Employee Relations, you'll play a pivotal role in managing and nurturing positive Employee Relationships while effectively resolving staff-related matters. Your expertise will ensure that our workplace remains harmonious, supportive, and conducive to productivity.

Simultaneously, in Talent Acquisition, you'll provide oversight and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to refine and enhance Council's talent strategies. From elevating our employer branding to implementing innovative recruitment techniques, you'll be at the forefront of attracting top talent to our organisation.

What you'll bring to the team:

  • Relevant Degree Qualifications: Your background in Human Resource Management, Organisational Development, or a related field provides you with the foundational knowledge necessary to excel in this role.
  • Strategic Advisory Skills: Your ability to provide strategic advice and guidance to stakeholders at all levels demonstrates your capacity to drive organizational success.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Your strong understanding of employment laws, industrial awards, and regulations ensures that our practices align with legal requirements and industry standards.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Your excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills enable you to build effective relationships and navigate complex organizational dynamics.
  • RecruitmentExperience:Your proven experience in full-cycle recruitment, particularly in high-volume environments, equips you with the skills necessary to identify and attract top talent.
  • Proficiency in HRIS: Your proficiency in HRIS and other information management systems enables you to leverage technology effectively to support organizational objectives.
