About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Organisational Development, the OD Specialist will drive the development and execution of learning and Organisational Development activities that meet the business objectives and align with key organisation wide change initiatives.
As the Organisational Development Specialist, you will take ownership of the following key duties and responsibilities:
- Culture and Engagement - Lead the development of engaging content for all OD initiatives, design and implement internal culture strategies, drive organizational D&I strategies and initiatives, and implement recognition philosophies across brands.
- Vision and Values - Develop and implement key initiatives aligned with organizational strategy while providing support and guidance on People and Culture policies and practices.
- Change and Transformation - Deliver change management and transformation activities for organisation-wide projects.
- Client Partnerships - Maintain strong stakeholder engagement with key leaders and brand partners while providing OD advice, support, guidance, coaching, mentoring, and advice to all client groups.
- Leadership Development - Manage the delivery of Leadership development programs, including overseeing Performance, Training, and Talent Succession modules within the HRM portal, along with related training, activities, reporting, and education on all OD platforms and processes, while also developing custom leadership programs.
- Learning and Development - Support the delivery of the overarching L&OD strategy, including facilitating workshops across all management levels, managing vendors for training program delivery, overseeing onboarding of new employees, and developing ad hoc training content as required.
About You
As the Organisational Development Specialist, you will bring to the role the following skills, experience and attributes:
- Demonstrated knowledge of Organisational Development frameworks and tools
- Demonstrated knowledge of change management frameworks and tools
- Prioritisation and organisational skills demonstrated by managing multiple projects, tasks and deadlines
- Strong influencing, negotiation and communication skills evidenced at all levels of the business
- Experience with retail operations including sales, service, systems, processes and compliance
- Exceptional facilitation skills with demonstrated ability to engage participants in blended learning approaches
- Experience working in a change environment
- Strong Influencing and negotiation skills
