Vision Eye Institute is Australia’s largest private provider of ophthalmic services.
Our clinical team is led by internationally recognised specialists in laser eye surgery, refractive lens exchange, laser cataract surgery, corneal conditions, retinal conditions and glaucoma.
Several of our doctors are pioneers in the field of laser eye surgery in Australia – together, they have helped correct vision for more than 50,000 patients!
Join us at our Blackburn South clinic, we have two roles available - fixed term 12 months, part time & full time.
Key responsibilities include:
Ophthalmic and medical history/Orthoptic assessment
Clinical assessment and perform investigations such as visual field testing, OCT and angiography
Biometry and Corneal Topography
Patient counselling
Primary assessment and triage of referrals
Work with up to date technology and instruments
Ongoing professional development will be provided
About you:
Excellent clinical skills, interpersonal skills and attention to detail
Scientific background preferred
Orthoptic/Optical qualification and current Australian Orthoptic Board registration
Experience in a similar role
