This permanent part-time (29.75 hours) qualified Assistant Coordinator role allows you to have the middle of the day off during the school term, for true work/life balance. Working Monday to Friday 7:00am - 9:00am and 2:15pm - 6:00pm, you'll also have a paid admin hour each week so you can focus on the kids when they're there! There is even flexibility for you in the school holidays to work full-time if you want!
About the role
Co-managing a team of Educators, you’ll have the perfect balance of support and leadership opportunities. You will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years, with the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.
- Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
- Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
- Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management
- Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration

- Enjoy working with kids
- Strong and clear communication
- Team player with a desire to become a service leader
- Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it!) and a state check for working with children
- Australian work rights
- Qualified under ACECQA requirements for OSHC in WA (check out the ACECQA website for more info)
