AddressWe have an exciting Coordinator opportunity leading our BRAND NEW Outside School Hours Care service, Helping Hands Windaroo State School located in Mount Warren Park, a suburb of Logan, QLD.
About the role
You will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.
- Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
- Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
- Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management
- Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration
This is a permanent part-time opportunity offering 38 hours per week including 8 non-contact administration hours.
You will work across split shifts to support the service's operating ours of Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 8:50am (Rise then Shine Program) and 3:00pm - 6:00pm (Stay and Play Program). You can work block shifts during the school holidays too!

- Experience leading a team
- Strong and clear communication
- Team player with a desire to become a service leader
- Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it!) and a state check for working with children
