Lane Cove West, Helping Hands Network is looking for a passionate Coordinator to provide engaging services for children in our before and after school care capacity. This is a permanent part-time opportunity, assisting in leading a team of Educators at a large sized (165 licence capacity) service in Lower North Shore of Sydney. This is a fantastic leadership opportunity for those looking for a step up in their career, willing to support the Lead Coordinators and Senior Coordinators, actively assisting with broad service management and contributing to quality programming.
Hours are as follows: Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 09:00AM (Rise then Shine Program) and 2:30 - 6:00PM (Stay and Play Program) + additional 8 admin hours totaling 38 hours per week!.
About the role
Leading a team of Educators, you will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.
- Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
- Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
- Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management
- Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration

- Enjoy working with kids
- Experience leading a team
- Experience with children with additional needs desirable (training provided)
- Strong and clear communication
- Team player with a desire to become a service leader
- Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it!) and a state check for working with children
