About the role
Leading a team of Educators at our service located at Caversham Primary School, you will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.
- Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
- Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
- Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management
- Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration
As Coordinator, you are required to work Monday - Friday, 6:45 AM- 8:45 AM (Rise then Shine Program) and 2:15 PM - 6:00 PM (Stay then Play program) totaling to 32.75 hours per week (including 4 hours admin).
You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service. This service is fit with their own OSHC room, plus an additional room shared with playgroup.
Who are we looking for?
- Enjoy working with kids
- Strong and clear communication
- Team player with a desire to become a service leader
- Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it!) and a state check for working with children
- Australian work rights
- Hold a Cert III (CHC30121) or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care , Cert III (CHC30221) or IV Education Support, Cert III (10983NAT) or IV Outside School Hours Care or Degree or diploma in education, recreation, sport science, leisure studies, social and behavioural science or nursing
