Ingle Farm East Primary School OSHC
We are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Director for our R-6 OSHC/Vacation Care service.
The OSHC Director (Level 6.4) will work closely with the Assistant Director and staff to plan and deliver a quality Out of Hours School Care program that provides a range of experiences for our children that are enjoyable, educational and inclusive.
Scope and Nature of the Position
This permanent part-time position for 25 hours per week will require the Director to work before school care 6:45 am-9:00 am and after school care 3:00 pm-6:00 pm during term time and equivalent hours during Vacation Care. The role involves working before school care, after school care, pupil free days, Vacation Care and undertaking some administration tasks across the week.
The successful applicant will be passionate about the education and care of school aged children, including those with disabilities and additional needs. They will have the ability to work collaboratively with the Assistant Director and staff and be positive, energetic and well-organized.
The successful candidate will be required to serve a probationary period of 3 months.

Hourly rate is $39.54 +5% = $41.52
Personal Skills, Knowledge and Attributes
- High level leadership, operational and financial management skills
- Ability to develop highly effective relationships with staff, children and parents/carers
- High level written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively support and manage staff in a collaborative manner
- Effective knowledge and application of the National Quality Framework (NQF) Standards, Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and National Regulations
- Knowledge of the My Time Our Place (MTOP) or Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Knowledge of administrative functions of an OSHC service including Child Care Management System (CCMS) and Children's Services Award
Experience
- Working in OSHC or Early Childhood setting in a leadership capacity with staff and children
- Planning, development, implementation and evaluation of appropriate programs for children reflecting the diverse needs of the community
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree level qualification as approved by ACECQA
- First Aid qualifications as approved by ACEQA
- Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect Training
- Working with Children Clearance
