0.58 FTE 22 hours per week over 48 weeks per year.
18 contact hours per week and 4 administrative - 22 hours per week in total. Contact hours will generally be 2 hours during both before and after school care during the school term time. Vacation care hours may be negotiated with the OSHC Director, that may include working up to 37.5 hours per week.
HILLS is seeking a suitably experienced and enthusiastic applicant to undertake the role of OSHC Assistant Director, commencing Term 2, 2024. This position will take on the role of lead educator and responsible person when the OSHC Director is not in attendance. They will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of the OSHC program. The successful applicant would support and work with the OSHC Director to ensure the safety, wellbeing, and engagement of children participating in the program. This position requires a nurturing, responsible individual with a passion for working with children and a commitment to promoting a positive, safe and inclusive environment.
QUALIFICATIONS/PRE-REQUISITES
- These qualifications/certificates are required prior to commencing employment at HILLS and must be updated for the duration of employments at HILLS (please provide copy with application):Hold, or be working towards, a qualification that meets ACECQA’s minimum standards to be classified as a qualified educator (Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent) ·
- current Working with Children Check
- Current Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse & Neglect Certificate (RRHAN-EC)
- current HLTAID012 “Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting” First Aid training.
- current Drivers Licence
