We are a modern Osteopathic practice based in Keilor East, looking for a vibrant and energetic front of house administration assistant to join our team on a casual basis.
This role is ideal for an established administrative professional seeking work in an Allied Health setting.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented team player who will be the first point of contact, greeting our patients in a welcoming, articulate manner. Must have a strong work ethic, be punctual, reliable, self-motivated and demonstrate sound initiatives with attention to detail.
Duties will include:
- Greeting patients and performing point of sale transactions including third party billing
- Taking phone bookings, enquiries and managing answering machine messages
- Washing and drying clinic linen and towels
- Monitoring and organising the clinic email inbox
- Managing patient appointments, clinic communications and patient profiles via Cliniko practise management software
- Maintaining general clinic upkeep
Skills and Experience:
- Administration experience, preferably in an Allied Health setting • Familiarity with Cliniko and HiCaps is highly regarded and knowledge of Osteopathy is favourable but can be teachable to the right candidate
- Competent in computer and social media skills
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude with the ability to handle sensitive health conversations professionally and with empathy
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required
